When : Sep 3 2010 (All day) - Sep 5 2010 (All day) Location : North Cascades Institute Learning Center
This fall, the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center will be a host venue for the 2010 Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival. The Film Festival is a weekend that celebrates the conservation community, addresses challenges, explores the late-summer glory of the North Cascades and inspires us all to work for change through two evenings of environmentally charged films.
Spend the daylight hours exploring Cascadian wildlands at the tipping point between summer and fall. At night, sit back and relax with the latest environmentally-themed films. Topics range from extraordinary outdoor adventure campaigns to poignant environmental justice battles to sensitive eco-awareness shorts.
Throughout the weekend, you'll enjoy the North Cascades Institute's top-notch food service, comfortable accommodations, inspiring views and opportunities to enjoy free time doing as you please. Leaders from conservation groups on both sides of the Cascades will also be available to share information about what they are focusing on in 2010. After indulging in the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival you'll leave feeling inspired, impassioned and motivated to make a change in your own community.
